Editorial and sourcing policy
Every article names its source. The written pieces in Insights and the comparison pages are companions to Driving Mobility podcast episodes. Each one names the host who wrote it, the guest it draws on, that guest's title and organization, the publication date, and the last-updated date.
Claims carry numbers or they do not run. Where an article states a figure - 61,000 US charging stations today against 28 million ports needed by 2030, medium- and heavy-duty trucks at roughly 5% of vehicles and 25% of emissions - that figure comes from the named guest on the record, not from us.
We do not publish anonymous industry claims. If a statement cannot be attributed to a named person on a recorded episode or a published source, it is not in the article.
Product claims are testable. Anything we say the platform does - what it tracks, what it enforces, what it costs - is demonstrable on a live unit in a demo, and the pricing page lists real numbers rather than "contact us". Where we do not have a figure we can stand behind, we do not publish one.
Publication dates are episode dates. Driving Mobility has been recording since 2022. Each written companion carries the publication date of the episode it draws on, which is why dates range from 2022 to 2026, and a last-updated date of August 2026, when the companions were written and published to this site. The recording date is the date that matters for the claims inside; the update date reflects the editorial pass.
